Currently stocks of Winbirri Wine is very limited and the vineyard is preparing to release the next vintage. We hope this to be done bye the end of July, watch this space for further up dates.
The Winbirri Vineyards Reserve is a juicy red wine A beautiful deep red cherry in colour with a pronounced nose of rich spices and vanilla. This then bursts into black fruit and autumn flavours. Rounded off with a peppery and leathery finish. This wine has spent 12 months in oak baroques and this adds to the body and this is a bigger than you would expect from an English Red wine. It is a very good wine indeed.
Like all of the Winbirri products they are made produced by Lee Dyer and from the grapes grown in Surlingham ensuring fantastic and consistent quality.
FOOD MATCH Fantastic with red meat or game dishes. Works exceptionally well with Jean-Christophe Novella’s Laverne of Lamb.

Winbirri Wines are based in Surlingham, Norfolk. A sleepy unassuming village that dates back to Saxon times. You will find Lee Dyer and his father Steve running a small but extremely high quality wine business. From their farming traditions Steve planted a few vines to ‘See what they would do” and 8 years later we have the answer! Winbirri Wines is now run by Lee and they now have 25 acres under vine with a steadily growing output approaching 80,000 bottles per year. Over the years they have impressed the Judges at both the English and Welsh Wine Awards and the East Anglia Wine Awards with an aray of awards over the years and last year the Bacchus was voted in the top 20 Bacchus in the country.
Often asked where the name originates, it is from the Saxon words, Win meaning Wine and a Birri is an orchard.
