The Winbirri Vineyards Seyval Blanc is a well balanced dry white wine with intense aromatic aromas. Fresh and fruity with an elegant crisp finish pronounced green apple flavours. For those looking for the first time at this grape the sweetness level is a little sweeter than Sauvignon Blanc.
This is great with fish or shellfish, it has loads of fruit so try it with something spicey.

Winbirri Wines are based in Surlingham, Norfolk. A sleepy unassuming village that dates back to Saxon times. You will find Lee Dyer and his father Steve running a small but extremely high quality wine business. From their farming traditions Steve planted a few vines to ‘See what they would do” and 8 years later we have the answer! Winbirri Wines is now run by Lee and they now have 25 acres under vine with a steadily growing output approaching 80,000 bottles per year. Over the years they have impressed the Judges at both the English and Welsh Wine Awards and the East Anglia Wine Awards with an aray of awards over the years and last year the Bacchus was voted in the top 20 Bacchus in the country.
Often asked where the name originates, it is from the Saxon words, Win meaning Wine and a Birri is an orchard.
